River Bend Trustees
In order to protect our neighborhood and provide for its maintenance, Restrictive Agreements exist which are filed with the St. Louis County
Recorder of Deeds. The Restrictive Agreements are administered by six Trustees. There are two Restrictive Agreements and two sets of Trustees.
Three Trustees serve the west side (Lots 1-125) and three serve the east side (Lots 1.26-369).
Trustees serve staggered three-year terms. Each spring you will receive a ballot of nominees and results of the election will then be mailed to
you along with a financial. statement. Under the terms of the Agreements, our Trustees are empowered to assess fees. These bills are sent out and
collections are made by the City and Village Tax Office. Non-payment of assessments will result in a lien against your property. The income is used
for gas lights and their maintenance and repair, insurance, maintenance of common ground, and administrative expenses.
Very definite restrictions govern the erection of fences, outbuildings, and additions to your home in order to retain the architectural integrity
of River Bend. Improvements should not be made without consulting the Trustees, who are bound bylaw to enforce these Agreements. If you have not
received a copy of the Agreements or have any questions concerning any change in your property, please contact one of your Trustees.
