Be on the lookout for subdivision assessments being mailed out and due to City and Village by early May. Last year, it took numerous mailings from City and Village along with personal letters and telephone calls from the Trustees to collect the money. Two home owners in the subdivision chose not to pay their assessment and in late December, the Trustees filed liens on these properties. Please remember that paying your assessment is part of an agreement you made when purchasing your River Bend Estates Additions home. The money collected provides the Trustees with the necessary funds to take care of our 26 gaslights, 24 islands, mowable common ground, 11 acres of other common ground, and other numerous subdivision tasks. Our assessments are extremely low and we need every home to pay in order to meet our budget.
