River Bend Community Center Guidelines

We are all responsible for following a few simple rules to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
Fortunately this has never been a problem at our neighborhood facility. Here are a few reminders.
The complete list will be posted on the bulletin board in the clubhouse.
-
Young children (under 9) must be accompanied by an adult or a baby-sitter who will be
responsible for their conduct and safety at all times. Lifeguards are not baby-sitters.
-
Children age 9 through 11 may be admitted without an adult if they successfully pass
a swim test and have the pool managers’ and their parents' permission.
-
Children under 16 must leave the large pool during the first ten minutes of every
hour if the lifeguard announces "adult swim". Adults are encouraged to contact one
of the duty lifeguards if they would like "adult swim" time.
-
Members are responsible for paying a $3 per guest fee per day when bringing a guest to the pool or tennis courts.
-
To preserve the court surface, tennis shoes are required. The courts are to
be used for tennis only, except by authorization of the Board of Directors.
-
The nets can be easily damaged by undue contact. This includes leaning on or running into the nets.
-
The lifeguards do NOT monitor the tennis courts. Please help by reminding others,
especially children, of the rules.
-
The cabinets and refrigerators are reserved primarily for RBCC Social Committee
and Swim & Dive Team use. The contents are not for personal consumption under any
circumstances. Do not remove any locks.
-
Personal alcoholic beverages should not be stored in the Clubhouse, cabinets or
refrigerators AT ANY TIME! All adult members are legally liable to ensure that
minors do NOT consume alcoholic beverages while on RBCC property. Do not leave
alcoholic beverages unattended.
